Bottle Cleaning Tablets — Support & Help Center

This page provides detailed explanations of common issues reported by customers and step-by-step solutions to help you get the best performance from your Flowcheer Bottle Cleaning Tablets.

1. Stains Are Not Fully Removed

Possible Causes:

  • The bottle has long-term tea or coffee stains that require extended soaking.
  • Only 1 tablet was used for a large or heavily stained bottle.
  • Cold water slows the oxygen-based cleaning reaction.
  • Plastic bottles may have color absorption, not dirt.

Solutions:

  • For heavy stains, use 2 tablets + warm water (40–60°C) and soak for 20–30 minutes.
  • Gently brush the inside after soaking for best results.
  • For plastic bottles with color absorption, improvement is possible but full restoration may not be achievable.

2. Foam Is Too Little

Explanation:

Flowcheer Bottle Cleaning Tablets use oxygen-based active cleaning, not foam-based detergents.

Important Note:

  • More dirt = more foam
  • Less dirt = less foam This is normal and does not affect cleaning performance.

Solutions:

  • Use warm water to activate the oxygen reaction.
  • Shake the bottle lightly after 5–10 minutes to help the tablet dissolve evenly.

3. Tablet Dissolves Slowly

Possible Causes:

  • Water is too cold.
  • Bottle is large and contains a high volume of water.
  • Tablet is stuck under the lid or trapped at the bottom.

Solutions:

  • Use warm water (not boiling) to speed up dissolution.
  • Shake the bottle after a few minutes to help the tablet break down evenly.
  • Ensure the tablet is fully submerged and not stuck under the lid.

Important Safety Note:

Do not close the bottle lid while the tablet is dissolving. The effervescent reaction releases oxygen bubbles, and sealing the bottle may cause pressure buildup or overflow.

4. Bottle Lid, Straw, or Silicone Ring Still Smells or Has Residue

Possible Causes:

  • These parts have hidden crevices where residue accumulates.
  • Cleaning tablets inside the bottle cannot reach internal gaps.

Solutions:

  • Remove all detachable parts (straw, lid, silicone ring).
  • Place them in a separate bowl of warm water.
  • Add 1 tablet and soak for 20–30 minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly after soaking.

5. Chemical Smell During Dissolving

Explanation:

The slight smell comes from oxygen release, not chemicals. It is completely safe and leaves no residue after rinsing.

Solutions:

  • Rinse the bottle with warm water after cleaning.
  • Allow the bottle to air dry for a few minutes.

6. Bottle Still Has a Slight Odor After Cleaning

Possible Causes:

  • Odor trapped in silicone or plastic.
  • Bottle was not rinsed thoroughly after soaking.

Solutions:

  • Soak again using warm water + 1 tablet for 20–30 minutes.
  • For silicone rings, soak separately for deeper cleaning.
  • Rinse thoroughly and let the bottle air dry.

7. Tablet Leaves White Residue

Possible Causes:

  • Tablet was not fully dissolved.
  • Hard water minerals reacting with the cleaning agent.

Solutions:

  • Rinse with warm water for 10–20 seconds.
  • Shake the bottle during dissolving to avoid residue.
  • If residue remains, wipe once with a soft sponge.
